Chand Raat Eid Festival

The Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) is this Saturday from 3.00pm at Werribee Racecourse.

CREF is a multicultural celebration which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and eve of Eid-Al-Fitr in the Islamic calendar.

CREF is open to everyone and is an opportunity for families to get together, do Eid shopping and eat delicious foods from a variety of stalls. The community groups, individuals, and business community will host a variety of stalls containing everything from crafts, art, painting, clothes, jewellery, henna, shoes, toys and ethnic food. The festival also provides entertainment for kids as well as rides and live multicultural performances.
