JWCC Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre bus trip

On Wednesday May 17, The Jamieson Way Community Centre will be taking a bus trip to Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Grovedale, Geelong.

Narana is an award-winning Aboriginal cultural centre offering authentic, immersive, cultural experiences.

Amongst the native trees, walkways, garden and wildlife, you can explore the art gallery and Cultural Education Exhibition Building to experience the world’s oldest continuous culture.

The cultural education programs are delivered by expert staff who will teach you about the wonders of Aboriginal culture and its connection to the land.

The art gallery features artworks from internationally acclaimed Aboriginal and Torres Strait artists while the retail outlet stocks a range of handmade cultural items, like boomerangs, didgeridoos and clothing.

There is also a café serving dishes inspired by native ingredients and flavours.
