Community Grocer, Wyndham

The Community Grocer, in collaboration with Wyndham City Council, is launching an affordable fresh food market in Wyndham!

The Community Grocer is a not for profit organisation that aims to make fruit and vegetables accessible for all by running local, affordable produce markets each week.

Every week, they'll bring more than 50 types of fruit and vegetables to a pop up market at the Youth Resource Centre at 86 Derrimut Rd Hoppers Crossing. The market will launch on Thursday 17 August and run every week from 3-6pm. 

Everyone is welcome at the market. All produce is Australian grown and fresh from the wholesale markets in the morning. Credit card facilities will be available. Bring your bags to reduce plastic use! 

All profits from the market will be returned to the community.

This is yet another great community initiative from the Wyndham City Council, and yet another benefit that the residents of Grace can expect to enjoy. Wyndham City Council is a forward-thinking organisation that aims to see passionate residents engaged in conversations about how to build a better community using their skills, knowledge and passion. Initiatives like these are part of an organised strategy to improve the community and will continue well into the future for the residents of Grace.
