World class entries for Wyndham art prize
The Wyndham Art Prize is quickly becoming a highly-coveted accolade as more than 200 artists from across Australia have submitted their works to this year’s competition.
Visitors to the Wyndham Art Gallery will be able to see the shortlist of 74 finalists selected from the 200 entries which includes up-and-comers as well as established names at the peak of their abilities.
The winner will receive a $10,000 non-acquisitive prize, with $2000 being awarded for the winner of a people’s choice award.
Entries will be on display from Thursday, March 29th at the Wyndham Art Gallery. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet with the artists and see a range of pieces which make use of different mediums including sculptures, photography and paintings.
