In celebration of Neighbour Day, local residents are invited to come along to the Tarneit Community Games 2019. The event will be held on Saturday 30th March at Seasons Main Park, Sundial Boulevard, Tarneit and will run from 11am until 3pm.
The day will feature FREE activities including family friendly games, prizes, face painting, crafts and a barbeque.
Wyndham City Mayor and Family Friendly portfolio holder Cr Mia Shaw said she looked forward to seeing the local community come together and connect with others who live in their area.
“It is an opportunity for residents to meet their neighbours and form relationships so that in the future, every day can be neighbour day,” Cr Shaw said.
“Come along to get to know your neighbours, make a team on the day and join in the games. Everyone is welcome.”
“Don't forget to bring a chair or a blanket to watch the games and cheer for those who are playing.”
The Tarneit Community Games have been organised by Wyndham City Council in conjunction with Victoria Police and Youth Off The Streets.
